Jamie Tickel

Lead Pastor 

Pastor Jamie is a Southeast Kansas native and a 2008 graduate of Pittsburg State .  He has served two previous congregations since 1998 before coming to South Broadway in April of 2025.  Pastor Jamie comes to us from First Baptist Joplin where he served as lead pastor for 15 years.  Reach out to him if you have any questions regarding South Broadway's bright future!

Tim Adam

Worship Director

Tim is a native of Pittsburg and brings many years of worship ministry to South Broadway. He leads our praise team with a humble heart and focus on the One who is truly worthy of our worship - Jesus Christ!

Lora Tanner

Children's Ministry Director

Lora is also a native of Southeast Kansas with roots in Pittsburg.  She has led and overseen the ministry to children at SBBC for several years.  Feel free to reach out to her with any questions about our growing kids ministry.

Bailey McGill

Youth Director

Bailey has a heart to see students know Jesus personally and grow in their relationship with Christ.  Together with a great team, Bailey and his wife Molly head up our student ministry.  Feel free to reach out with questions or hear about some of the things God is doing in the loves of the students at SBBC.

Millie Beer

Financial Secretary

Millie has roots that go deep in South Broadway.  She brings her love for the church and a knowledge of financial administration to the team.  She keeps us accountable and on track as we seek to steward our financial resources well.

Abby is the newest member of the team and serves as our Administrative Assistant. Her attention to detail, love for the community, and strong work ethic provide a great foundation for supporting our staff and church family.
